Laura grew up in Toronto and has a 3-year Ornamental Horticulture certification from the University of Guelph, along with many ongoing education courses. She has an unrelenting curiosity about plants.

Her eye for planting, balance, seasonality, and colour is truly exceptional.

The founder of Paysagistes Northland Gardeners inc in Mont-Tremblant, Northland built a reputation for the creativity of high-end private landscaping and gardening mixed with the efficient and practical aspect of commercial hardscaping and horticulture.

Winters were spent teaching skiing, first in Tremblant, then at Blackcomb starting in 1995 and ongoing at WB. The summers saw Laura growing Northland along with her life partner, Louis Joncas. They had many years of amazing projects and very satisfied clients.

Bayshores has been home for Laura, Louis, and their four kids since 2011.
